Clubs First.

Working in conjunction with Dudley Metropolitan Borough.

Old Halesonians Hockey Club were awarded the Clubs First accreditation in February 2010. Clubs First is the England Hockey club accreditation scheme. Clubs that recieve the award are recognised nationally for providng a Safe, Effective and Child Friendly hockey environment.

The accreditation scheme has four key areas:

  • Developing Young People in Hockey
  • Safeguarding and Protecting Young People
  • Sports Equity and Ethics
  • Club Management

The committee have been working towards accreditation for some time now, updating and drafting new policies and procedures for the club.

Available on the right are a number of Old Halesonians Hockey Club policies and procedures that are part of the Clubs First process and also ensure the smooth running of the club.
